The Ordre salutes the work of its French Terminology Committee

The Ordre’s French Terminology Committee will cease its activities on March 31, 2012, after 47 years of existence. The terms of reference of the Committee, which held its first meeting on June 15, 1965, were to contribute to the establishment and dissemination of French terminology in the areas of expertise of CAs.

The terminology bulletins issued by the Committee over the years will still be available on the Terminologie comptable website.

On behalf of all Quebec CAs and those interested in French accounting terminology, the Ordre would like to acknowledge the exemplary work carried out by all the members who have served on the Committee since its inception. The Committee’s numerous achievements would not have been possible without their dedication, energy and talent. We also want to mention the valuable participation of the Committee’s collaborators, whose relevant feedback helped improve the quality of material published.
