An FCA wins the Montreal CA Group’s 2011 Volunteer Award

2011-11-29

The Montreal CA Group is proud to present the 2011 Volunteer Award to Gérard A. Limoges, FCA, in recognition of his exceptional volunteer work with the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM).

He received the commemorative trophy on November 24, 2011, along with a cash prize of $3,000, which will be given to the IRCM. On November 16, 2011, during the IRCM Foundation’s Annual Dinner, the IRCM presented him with the 2011 Merit Award.

Through his charitable work with the IRCM Foundation for over 10 years now, Mr. Limoges has actively contributed to the development and visibility of the Quebec research centre, which he chaired from 2005 to 2011.

The Volunteer Award, a Montreal CA Group initiative, is presented to a CA each year for distinguished volunteer work with a charitable organization, involvement in paraprofessional activities or participation in the region’s social, cultural or sports initiatives. The award, which is in its eighth year, provides incentive to CAs to get involved in their communities and recognizes their volunteer work.
