The Quebec City Regional Group will be commemorating its 75th anniversary this year. All CAs and business people are invited to join in the exciting celebrations at the renowned Fairmont Le Château Frontenac on September 30, 2010. The Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec, which is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year, is pleased to participate in this unique event and will hold its Annual General Meeting on this memorable day.

This event will also provide an opportunity to attend plenaries and workshops featuring distinguished panellists, to meet CAs from the four corners of the province and people from the business community in the Quebec City region, as well as to attend a closing banquet where members of the profession will be honoured.

The program in detail
The program is based on the theme Capitalize on your success, which reflects the spirit of initiative and the achievements of members from the National Capital region. The plenaries will address social and economic issues and the impact of today’s decision making on tomorrow’s realities.
During the evening banquet, we will celebrate the 75 years of the Quebec City Regional Group and present the Recognition awards to members who have enhanced the reputation of the profession.
Laurent Beaudoin, FCA, honoured
An exceptional member will also receive the Outstanding achievement Award, the ultimate honour bestowed on a Fellow Chartered Accountant in recognition of his great merit, extraordinary contribution to the profession, and commitment to the community. Laurent Beaudoin, FCA, Chair of the Board of Directors at Bombardier, will be only the third member to receive this award. He will take this opportunity to say a few words.
