COMPUTING A TRAINING PERIOD DURING THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM(RECOGNITION AND/OR REDUCTION OF A TRAINING PERIOD)
All or part of a training period (full-time or part-time basis) completed with an approved training employer before the candidate has obtained a recognized undergraduate diploma and after the candidate has completed a minimum of 30 university credits may be recognized by the Education and Recruitment Department in one of the following cases:
(a)
in the case of a cooperative training period recognized by the Ordre or by one of the provincial institutes of chartered accountants of Canada or the Bermuda Institute, completed during the course of an undergraduate program, provided the candidate has completed a minimum of 30 university credits leading to the recognized diploma before starting the training period, in which case the training period may be recognized for a period not exceeding eight months or 174 working days;
(b)
in the case of a training period, including summer employment, completed during the course of an undergraduate program, provided the candidate has completed a minimum of 30 university credits leading to the recognized diploma before starting the training period, in which case the training period may be recognized for a period not exceeding eight months or 174 working days.
COMPUTING A PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PERIOD AFTER HAVING OBTAINED A RECOGNIZED UNDERGRADUATE DIPLOMA Any professional training period completed after having obtained a recognized undergraduate diploma.
