Professional Education Program (PEP)
General information
This program is offered by Quebec universities as part of a graduate diploma program which follows a recognized undergraduate diploma program. In this way, the education acquired covers, in particular, the knowledge, skills and attitudes required by The CA Candidates Competency Map. The objective of the Ordre's Professional Education Program is to allow candidates to develop professional skills that will be recognized nationally and internationally. The program focuses on the acquisition and integration of in-depth specialized knowledge in fields in which engagements are likely to be entrusted to newly qualified CAs in response to the expectations of a complex, globalized and changing market.
More specifically, the objective of the Professional Education Program is to develop the analytical skills, diagnostic capabilities and evaluation skills needed for the exercise of professional judgment, and for decision making in matters of assurance engagements, taxation or management.
