The first step in the process is to obtain an undergraduate diploma recognized by the government in accordance with the Professional Code, or equivalent.
To help you determine if you have the personal qualities and skills to succeed in this career, you will find below a list of the qualities the profession is looking for. You can ask yourself whether you have these attributes.

| IMPORTANT: In order for the training period to be recognized, everyone must register as a Candidate for the practice of the profession (CPP) AT THE VERY START of the professional training period, AFTER having obtained the undergraduate diploma. |
