In 2003, she was made senior manager, risk management, business banking. Nathalie Gagnon has been a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec since 1986 and acts as a mentor for the Ordre’s continuing education program.

Luc Lacombe, FCA, holds a master’s degree in taxation and is a partner and director of taxation with Pratte, Bélanger Chartered Accountants Inc. He has over 22 years of experience in this field and is a regular speaker for the Association de planification fiscale et financière and the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec. He is a co-author of Fiscalité de la PME published by CCH Ltd. and is in charge of a number of the Ordre’s continuing education courses in taxation and its Référentiel en fiscalité (taxation guide).

For almost 30 years, Jean Lanoue has been an advisor to many businesses, professionals, trade associations and organizations in regards to commodity taxes. He has also been a trainer and a speaker at numerous forums and is the author of various publications on commodity taxes.
He is a founding member of Groupe Lanoue Taillefer Audet, a group of specialists in commodity taxes, whose clientele, which includes over 175 chartered accountant firms, is located across Quebec, in other provinces, as well as in the United States and Europe.
The members of Groupe Lanoue Taillefer Audet are very involved in the preparation and presentation of training sessions offered by the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec in addition to being the authors of works such as the Référentiel sur les taxes à la consommation and the tax bulletin Le Tacticien distributed by the Ordre.
Jean Lanoue acted as supermentor for the commodity tax training program offered by the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec and is also a member of the Committee for CAs in Taxation of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec.

Michel Lapointe has been a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés since 1981. He earned a master’s degree in information systems and management in 1985 and obtained the CA•IT (information technology) designation in 2003.
Since 1985, he has worked in the information technology sector, where he held various consulting, training and management positions in the private sector from 1985 to 1992, before entering the public sector in 1992.
Mr. Lapointe is currently in charge of information resources with the Quebec ministère du Tourisme.

André Mignault has also authored Ordre course material, including accounting and assurance reference guides.

Jean-Pierre Nadeau joined CIBC Asset Management in September 1991. He oversees all the firm’s business management functions, playing an active role in managing business risk and ensuring the successful execution of strategic and compliance initiatives.
With an MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor’s in business administration from the École des hautes études commerciales in Montreal, Jean-Pierre is also a CA.
From 1991 to 2005, he held various positions at CIBC Asset Management (Montreal), such as corporate controller; assistant vice-president, finance; and assistant vice president, business management. He also acted as accounting manager at Hatch & Associates Ltd. (Montreal) from 1989 to 1991; manager at Price Waterhouse (Montreal) from 1987 to 1989; and senior auditor with Fuller Jenks Landau (Montreal) from 1984 to 1987.
