Executive Committee

The Professional Code provides for an Executive Committee (what used to be called “The Administrative Committee”) within the Board of Directors to monitor the many general administrative affairs of the Ordre, to examine thoroughly all the issues submitted to it, and to make sure its decisions are carried through. The composition and functioning of the Committee are also set out in the Professional Code.

The Board appoints the members of the Executive Committee at the first meeting following the Annual General Meeting. The Committee is composed of the Chair of the Ordre, the Vice-chair of the Ordre, and three advisors chosen from among the members of the Board (including one selected from among the four directors appointed by the Office des professions), and the President, CEO and Secretary General. The Committee is also responsible for the financial management of the Ordre.
