2010-08-18, Green light for CA training periods in firms outside public accountancy!
As of August 2010, the CA profession will expand the range of training environments for future CAs beyond public accountancy to include firms, enterprises and public sector entities recognized under strict criteria. After several months of planning, the Ordre is pleased to embark on this path, which will enhance the value of the CA designation for its members and the public.

Here is an opportunity for you to become actively involved in your profession. The Ordre is seeking CAs interested in serving on the following committees/working group:
- CAs in Industry;
- CAs Working in Internal Auditing;
- Exposure Draft Review;
- Working Group on the Code of Ethics (reporting to the Regulations Committee).

Last Saturday, 16 members were awarded the prestigious FCA title in recognition of their exceptional contribution to the profession and their communities.

2010-05-03, Do you know an SME that has made the move to Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises?
We are looking for enterprises that are well advanced in the changeover process to Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, or who chose early adoption of these standards.
